Her First Steps

"Come on Rose hun, you can do it."

Causeway said, smiling as she was looking at her daughter Velvet Rose trying to move as thesmall pink femme just sat there, giggling lightly as she clapped her servos together. Causeway sat there, sighing as she saw Arcee and Optimus walk in, looking over at her. "Hey Causeway, what's up?" Arcee asked, walking over as she bent down, tickling Rose's small belly as she giggled even more. "I'm trying to get little Rosey here to walk. I know she can do it, but... I don't know why she isn't doing it now." Causeway said, standing up as Optimus walked over to his mate, kissing her on the lips as he held her close. "You must have patience Causeway. Velvet will learn in due time. We must not rush her on this." He said to her, nodding as she smiled. "Alright Optimus... I'm just so excited for her to take her first steps." Causeway said with a smile as Arcee stood up. "I agree... Once she starts walking, she'll be talking and having fun before our own optics." Arcee said with a smile on her face, looking down to the cute sparkling. "I can't wait for that.." Causeway said to her as Optimus nodded . "Me too my dear." He said in a soft tone as Rose looked up at the three bots, seeing them look to one another as she tried to stand up on her pedes, wobbling a little bit.

Velvet looked to her carrier and sire, carefully walking towards them as Optimus looked to his daughter with surprise and shock. "Causeway..." He said as the orange femme looked to her daughter, gasping lightly as Rose kept walking towards them before walking in between them, sitting in the middle. She raised her tiny servos, showing she wanted to get picked up as Causeway picked her up, smiling at her as she kissed her cheek sweetly, giving her more kisses as Optimus watched his family, smiling as well as he too gave his little daughter kisses as well, surprised at her sudden progress. "Guess that didn't take so long." Optimus said with a smile as Arcee smiled at well, patting her tiny helm.

"Guess she's growing up fast now... Better be careful for that."

She said as Causeway laughed a bit at her words. "I'm not worried Arcee.. No matter what, she'll always be our little angel, right Optimus?" Causeway said looking to her mate as he nodded, gently caressing the small sparkling's cheek as Velvet yawned tired, showing that she needed a nap. "Someone needs to nap." Causeway sweetly said to her as her and Optimus walked into their room to place her into her crib, watching her fall asleep as she put her tiny thumb into her mouth, falling asleep as Optimus and Causeway smiled at her, then one another, giving each other a kiss on the lips.
